Dear Krystal,

I just hope your article is an eye-opener to many. I have a 4-year-old son and I am content to have one. Just like you, the delivery has been a very traumatic event for me. People keep asking me when I would conceive a second child. They even keep suggesting to me that I should consider conceiving a second child. They often tell me that my son needs to have a sibling, failing which he would be all alone, he would become selfish and stubborn and would never know to share with others. This is absurd. It all depends on parenting. I believe that the choice of conceiving a child should be left to the mother because she is the one who experiences changes in her body and mind. Motherhood should not be forced.

Thanks for this beautiful article.
